PhD Student Upendra Kumar Sah presented his research work in 8th International Conference on Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering (8ICEGE) in Osaka, Japan. His presentation is titled "Importance of higher mode for dynamic soil structure interaction response of offshore wind turbine."
Mr. Sah shared his experience, "It is a great pleasure to present our research work at the (8ICEGE) in Osaka, Japan, May 7–10, 2024. The 8ICEGE face-to-face conference also provided an opportunity to meet, talk, and share the experience with several renown researchers in the earthquake geotechnical engineering field. I also got the opportunity to visit several technically interesting sites and laboratories, like the Hanshin Expressway Earthquake Museum, Port Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park, full-scale 3D dynamic and isolation testing facilities, and E-Defense and E-Isolation. Finally, I would also like to acknowledge the valuable support and guidance of my supervisor, Prof. Jun Yang."
