Prof. Jun Yang delivered Wang Ren Lecture on Mechanics at Peking University

Professor Yang was honored to be invited to deliver Wang Ren Lecture on Mechanics, titled "Instability and Failure of Geomaterials", at Peking University on 14 March 2025. This distinguished lecture series is to mark the great contributions of the late Professor Wang Ren, one of China’s pioneers in solid mechanics and plasticity research and education, who joined the faculty of Peking University shortly after his PhD studies at Brown University in the US in 1953.
