Prof. Jun Yang delivered Zeng Guoxi Lecture at Zhejiang University

Professor Yang delivered the 16th Zeng Guoxi Lecture at Zhejiang University on 14 May 2022. The lecture, entitled "Flow failure of geomaterials: towards a better understanding and practice", attracted more than 700 attendees from around China and overseas. The named lecture series, established in 2007, is to mark the great contributions of the late Professor Zeng Guoxi, one of China’s pioneers in geotechnical research, education and practice and the founding leader of the geotechnical program at Zhejiang University, who joined the university’s faculty shortly after his postgraduate studies at the Northwestern University in the US in 1950.
