HKU Method for Open-End Piles Recognized

The new method for analysis of open-end pipe piles, developed by our geotechnical professor and PhD graduate, named as the HKU method, and published in the premier journal of ASCE, is reviewed and referenced by the guidelines recently issued by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Minnesota DOT of the United States.
